IMBQ-S-130 Tracking Pedestal

The IMBQ-S-130 is a mid-range tracking pedestal offering 130 kg payload capacity with 36-arcsecond standard pointing accuracy. It bridges the gap between the compact IMBQ-HP-V2 and the heavy-lift IMBQ-HP-200 series, providing robust performance for terrestrial and marine tracking missions.

The pedestal features a support arm with an integrated bearing designed to carry two large optical payloads simultaneously, with a no-parallax-error design for maximum measurement accuracy. An optional 23-bit inductive encoder delivers 0.13-arcsecond resolution for high-precision applications.

Rugged Reliability

The IMBQ-S-130 is rated IP66 for resistance to dust, mud, and powerful water jets, making it suitable for continuous outdoor use in marine environments, heavy rainfall, snow, and hail. The aluminium chassis is treated with a chromate conversion coating and high-gloss epoxy paint for long-term corrosion resistance. Stainless steel hardware ensures a virtually maintenance-free service life.

An internal thermostatically controlled heater keeps the control electronics operating reliably in cold climates, while the epoxy-coated finish reduces solar load in hot environments.
